The certificate owners can receive gold or their daily price by handing over the certificates to the fund manager. If it is agreed in the contract, the fund manager is free to pay the gold or its daily price to the owners of the certificates; moreover, they can sell their certificates to others at an agreed price.

The fund can add new partners to the fund by receiving gold or cash and giving them investment certificates.
