The main focus of the meeting was on the latest developments of Islamic banking in Europe Malaysia.

In the beginning of the session, Dr. Ali Saleh Abadi, President of the Iranian Association of Islamic Finance (IAIF), while thanking the members of the committee for their active and fruitful presence for the past year, invited them to join the second round of the committee and noted that, God willing, in the second round of the International Forum Committee, new members will join this committee from different countries.

He went on to describe the activities of the Iranian Association of Islamic Finance (IAIF) in the international field, mentioning there is a growing path ahead of the IAIF.

After that, Farugh Reza, CEO of IFAAS and Chairman of ethics and Governance Board iatAAOFI, gave a speech about the latest developments in Islamic finance in Europe, especially in England, France, Germany and Luxembourg.

Then Dr. Younes Sualhi, a senior lecturer at ISRA, another member of the International Forum Committee, pointed out the latest achievements of Islamic banking in Malaysia, and then the committee members discussed the issues raised.

It is worth mentioning that the main objective of forming the International Forum Committee is to provide a platform to share the latest achievements and developments of Islamic finance in the world with the participation of Islamic finance scholars from four corners of the world to review them and also establish communication between professors and scientists in this field to contribute to the dynamics of the Islamic finance industry in the world, and make available successful experiences in various aspects of Islamic finance to everyone.

The meeting of the IAIF’s international Forum Committee is held every 3 months, hosted by the Iranian Association of Islamic Finance.
