Syed Mazhar Abbas Zeidi introduced Pakistan's banking and sharia supervision in the meeting, and ways of cooperation between the IAIF and the related international bodies were discussed.

Moreover, a memorandum of understanding is going to be signed between Al-Sadiq Institute, of which Syed Zeidi is one of the directors, and the Iranian Association of Islamic Finance.
It is worth noting that Al-Sadiq Institute, which also operates in the field of Islamic finance, is AAOIFI’s agent in Pakistan. Also, Mr. Abbas Zaidi has CSAA certificate from AAOIFI.
In the meeting Amir Yousefi Moghadam, Secretary General of IAIF, Sajjad Movahed, CEO of Iran Financial Center and Alireza Kamandi, Secretary of International Affairs at IAIF attended.
