In its latest initiative, the IAIF has created a committee called the International Forum Committee and its members are Islamic finance scholars from both Iran and other parts of the world.
The main objective of forming the International Forum Committee is to provide a platform to share the latest achievements and developments of Islamic finance in the world with the participation of Islamic finance scholars from four corners of the world to review them and also establish communication between professors and scientists in this field to contribute to the dynamics of the Islamic finance industry in the world, and make available successful experiences in various aspects of Islamic finance to everyone.
At the beginning of this meeting, Amir Yousefi Moghadam, Secretary General of the Iranian Association of Islamic Finance, while welcoming the members, explained the objectives of the committee and presented a general picture of the Association.
Then, Dr. Khairunnisa Musari, Member of the Association of Islamic Economists of Indonesia, and Dr. Hossein Mohiuddin Qadri, Professor at Minhaj University from Pakistan, presented the latest developments and achievements of Islamic finance in Indonesia and Pakistan. After that, the members presented their points of view on the said contents.
The meetings of the IAIF’s international Forum Committee are held every 3 months, hosted by the Iranian Association of Islamic Finance.
