The Iranian Association of Islamic Finance (IAIF) inked an MoU with the Universitas Islam Negeri Kiai Haji Achmad Siddiq Jember.
In order to expand its international activities, the Iranian Association of Islamic Finance (IAIF) signed a memorandum of understanding with an Indonesian academic center, Universitas Islam Negeri Kiai Haji Achmad Siddiq Jember.
The Universitas Islam Negeri Kiai Haji Achmad Siddiq Jember (UIN KHAS Jember) is a state Islamic university under the ministry that handles government affairs in the field of religion. UIN KHAS Jember is a university established based on the decree of the President of the Republic of Indonesia IN 1997.
It is worth mentioning that the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business (FEBI) UIN KHAS has three study programs, namely Islamic Economics, Islamic Banking, and Zakat and Waqf Management. Then, the School of Postgraduate UIN KHAS also has a Study Program in Islamic Economics. Currently, the School of Postgraduate UIN KHAS is in the process of opening a Doctoral Program in Islamic Economics. Various issues on Islamic Finance are also included in all study programs available at FEBI and the School of Postgraduate. The focus is on: 1. Islamic Social Finance; 2. Islamic Accounting; 3. Islamic Banking; 4. Islamic Microfinance; 5. Sukuk
According to this memorandum, two centers are going to hold short-term educational programs in the form of seminars and workshops, as well as publishing articles in the field of Islamic financial services industry.
