The 3rd Islamic Finance Conference was held in the presence of sholars and researchers of this area on 3 Dec. 2017.

In the beginning of the conference Dr. Ali Salehabadi, Chairman of the Iranian Association of Islamic Finance, welcomed the participants and gave a short explanation regarding the association’s measures.
Then Dr. Davoud Danesh Jafari, Member of Expediency Council, and Dr. Mohammadi, Head of Securities and Exchange Organization (SEO) gave a lecture respectively.
After that a clip about awarding Islamic finance prizes and top Islamic financial research was played.
First panel: The Latest Developments in the Islamic Banking Plan and the Effects of the New Role of the Jurisprudential Council of the Central Bank
Dr. Salehabadi chaired the panel. Dr. Hosseinzadeh Bahreyni, Head of the Monetary, Financial and Banking Committee of the Parliament’s Economic Commission, overviewed “The Latest Developments in Islamic Banking Plan and Upcoming Programs”.
Dr. Mousavian, Head of Islamic Finance Group in Imam Sadiq University spoke about “The Comparison of the Role of the Jurisprudential Council of the Central Bank before and after the Changes of the Sixth Development Plan”.
Dr. Ali Divandari, Head of the Monetary and Banking Research Institute of Central Bank, gave a lecture on “Standards and International Experiences of Shariah Supervision and Establishment of Jurisprudential Council: Lessons to Iran
Panel on the Role of Instruments and Islamic Financial Markets in National Production Increase and Employment Creation
The panel was chaired by Dr. Fereydoun Rahnama Roudposhti, Head of Financial Engineering Association of Iran. Then Dr. Mousavian, Head of Islamic Finance Group in Imam Sadiq University talked about the Pathology of Islamic Financial Instruments in Iran Capital Market; an Approach to Designing Islamic Securities.
After that Dr. Mohammad Naghi Nazapour, Associate Professor of Mofid University, spoke about Designing International Islamic Mutual Investment Funds; a Step towards the Internationalization of Iran Capital Market.
Next, Hamed Soltaninejad, CEO of Iran Mercantile Exchange Co., talked about Commodity Deposit Certificate; an Instrument for Financing the Agricultural Sector.
Finally, Abouzar Soroush, Board Member of Export Development Bank of Iran spoke about the Role of Gharzolhasaneh’s Facilities in Creating Employment in the case of Resalat Entrepreneurship Network.
