The Iranian Association of Islamic Finance (IAIF) held the second edition of its International Forum Committee (IFC) on February 25, 2025.
Dr. Mohamed Eskandar, Professor of Islamic Finance, Hamad Bin Khalifa University gave a lecture on the latest developments in Islamic finance in Qatar. He offered a He gave comprehensive explanations about Islamic finance, Islamic banking sector, Sukuk market, Takaful insurance, Islamic stock market and Islamic fintech.
Following that Dr. Khairunnisa Musari, Professor of Islamic Economics, Haji Achmad Siddiq State Islamic University delivered her a lecture on the latest developments in Islamic finance in Indonesia. She talked about the policies adopted by the Indonesian government, Islamic financial literacy, Indonesia Islamic Economic Masterplan (MEKSI) and Islamic Financial Action Master Plan (MAKSI).
Then the members exchanged their opinions on the mentioned points.
The purpose of creating the International Forum Committee (IFC), which has started its activity since 2022, is to make a connection between Islamic finance activists in various parts of the world and access to the latest findings and experiences of Islamic finance in different countries in a centralized manner. The IFC session is held quarterly.
