Alij Avdukic, a professor in Political/Moral Economy and Islamic Finance at University of Dundee School of Business from Scotland and a new member of the third edition gave a lecture on the latest developments in Islamic finance in Europe. He offered a comprehensive explanation of the progress and barriers of the industry in Europe.

Following that Dr. Taslima Julia,a visiting researcher at the Research Center for Islamic Economics (IKAM), Istanbul in Turkey and a new member of the third edition delivered her a lecture on the analysis of Islamic finance figures in different Asian countries.

Then the members exchanged their opinions on the mentioned points.

The purpose of creating the International Forum Committee (IFC), which has started its activity since 2022, is to make a connection between Islamic finance activists in various parts of the world and access to the latest findings and experiences of Islamic finance in different countries in a centralized manner. The IFC session is held quarterly.
