The IAIF held the 2nd specialized session on assessing the success of Islamic financing instruments in Iran capital market on 30 Nov. 2015.

Dr. Ali Saeedi, a board member and Deputy Supervisor of Saba Financial Institutions, Mahmoud Reza Khajeh Nasiri, Managing Director of Arman Investment Bank, and seyed Hossein Hosseini, Managing Director of Capital Market Central Asset Management Company, discussed and expressed their views on the topic of the session in the presence of a group of experts and capital market and at the end answered the questions of the audience.

Dr. Saeedi dealt with the history of the use of securities in Iran and the world, stating that the study and analysis of the success of Islamic financial instruments needs more time to achieve results.

Mahmoud Reza Khajeh Nasiri mentioned the lack of order in advertising and introducing the securities market is as a great weakness of this market for its growth, stressing that as long as the “rule of accident” is the only way to get acquainted with investment companies and companies in need of financing, there is no hope to the growth of this market.

Then seyed Hossein Hosseini, said the traditional methods do not meet the needs of investors now, pointing out at present investors can plan to invest surplus capital by using sukuk bonds.
