Awards for Best Islamic Finance Research

One of the measures taken by the IAIF is to introduce the top researchers in the field of Islamic finance.

To encourage researchers and students in both masters and Ph.D. levels to conduct applied- scientific studies in the field of Islamic finance, the Iranian Association of Islamic Finance intends to honor the doctoral dissertations and master's theses in the field of Islamic finance, after being reviewed by the scientific committee.

Report on Awarding the First Best Islamic Finance Research Prize


In the master's thesis section, the best research award went to the dissertation on "Identification, introduction, prioritization and risks of Mudaraba papers based on Imami jurisprudence" written by Hossein Shirmardi, a graduate of Imam Sadiq University.
Also, the award for the best research in the doctoral dissertation went to the dissertation on "Challenges and Fundamentals of Islamic Accounting with Emphasis on Islamic Contracts" written by Alireza Ram Rooz, a doctoral graduate of Tehran University.

Report on Awarding the second Best Islamic Finance Research Prize


The fourth Islamic finance conference was held on Sunday, December 3, 2018 at Al-Zahra University in the presence of some economic officials of the country, and on the sidelines of it, the best researches in the field of Islamic finance were honored.
The best master's thesis was on "Designing the Operational Model of the Debt Swap Contract-Ownership in Accordance with the Iranian Capital Market" written by Ghazaleh Bagherian.
Also, the best doctoral dissertation award went to Hamed Tajmir Riahi for "Designing a collection of Hybrid Papers Based on grouping the Issuers and Investors’ Need in the Iranian Capital Market Based on Imami Jurisprudence".

Report on Awarding the Third Best Islamic Finance Research Prize


The fifth Islamic financial conference was held in the presence of some economic officials of the country, on Sunday, December 31, 2019, at Al-Zahra University. On the sidelines of it, the best researches in the field of Islamic finance were honored.
The best master's thesis was on "Designing a Sharia supervision framework in the capital market of the Islamic Republic of Iran" by Alireza Fattahi and the best doctoral dissertation was on "Evaluation and Analysis model of Stock Exchange Transactions in the Iranian Securities Market Based on Imami Jurisprudence" by Dr. Mohammad Tawhidi.
